The Advanced Reading Concepts Staff!
Bonnie James
President and a Founder of Advanced Reading Concepts, is a dynamic presenter who has been listed in Business First’s “Who’s Who in Business Education and Training.” Bonnie has received the Micro Entrepreneur of the Year in consumer services for 2007 from INCREASE Community Development Corporation. and was recently the featured entrepreneur in Business First.
Bonnie is sought after nationwide as a speaker and trainer for conferences, associations, schools and corporations. She has helped thousands of busy people achieve their goals in education, business and life. Bonnie says that the reason she still loves teaching speed reading is because, “I love helping people reach a potential they never even knew they had.”
Bob James
Vice president of business development and works with our clients and partners to bring our speed reading courses and seminars to corporations, associations and other non-profits, and government and military installations nationwide.
Bob is an experienced business professional with over 25 years of experience in marketing and sales of professional services and systems both in the US and internationally.
Bob has a BS degree in engineering and an MBA in marketing and business economics.
Angela Starr
Our administrator and all around right arm of the business and tries to keep us organized. She is the person you are most likely to talk to and receive information from when you call. She has been with us for almost four years now. She and all three of her brothers have been through our programs–so if you ask her a question you’ll get a real answer.
Angela McFarland
A valued member of our staff. Angela recently won the Excellence in Technology Education Award from the International Technology Education Association. Already possessing an MA in Women’s Studies, Angela used ARC’s strategies working on her MA in Education. Angela states, “I was able to gain knowledge much more quickly and to organize my research in such a way to make my points immediately clear to the audience. I am passionate about helping my students achieve these same benefits.”
